Mademoiselle Daisy

There is a constant evolution at The Chateau, which provides inspiration all year round.

In 2019 the Strawbridge’s bought a vintage Asquith van, with dreams of turning it into a travelling adventure bus.

During its transformation Angel joked about it feeling very “Driving Miss Daisy”, a thirty-year old film loved by Dick and Angel. It was in that moment that the bus acquired its name, but with a French twist!

The remodelling of the Asquith's van drew inspiration from the natural beauty found in The Chateau's grounds. Interestingly, 2019 marked the first year when the Chateau was adorned with an abundance of wild daisies.

Combined with Angel's fondness for Art Nouveau patterning, the result is the exquisite Mademoiselle Daisy design, characterized by its rich colours, bold patterns, and distinct identity.

The Chateau upholstery fabric has FR treatment and weighs 370gsm. This is ideal for domestic and upholstery applications, such upcycling your seat cushions and chairs!
